Sample Definition Files--The AD2 Toolkit includes a number of source code routines you can use to build applications faster, easily exporting them into your programs with the AD2 Utility program:
- Our AD2 Base System
that serves as a base for starting a new program, complete with background screen, a defined database, and many AD2 features already in place. Learn by studying our definitions and code.
We use this as the “base” program for every program we develop, adding and deleting as needed.
- A complete interface to the R&R Report Writer
Runtime, ready to paste into your application, or modify it to work with your report writer of choice.
This includes two complete (and similar) interfaces, one
for R&R DOS, one for the R&R version 9.x Windows program.
- The AD2 Appointments Module
to quickly install an appointment system in your program.
- AD2 Contact Manager
that becomes part of your program.
This is the Base Program, combined with the Appointments Module. You can learn a lot by seeing how we set this up.
- A Security Sub-System
, requiring users to log in with passwords, and tracking their use of a program.
- Our CD Setup Program.
The AD2 Toolkit Setup CD installs four programs,
and displays certain reports and information. To install a program, it actually launches one of three installs generated by the AD-Setup Wizard. We give you the source files for this routine so you can easily modify it for your own requirements.
